Sahar, a devoted mother of 15, is a beacon of dedication and compassion within her community. She has undertaken the responsibility of homeschooling the majority of her children, showcasing her commitment to their education and well-being. Sahar's kindness and empathy shine through in her interactions with others, as she has played a significant role in the establishment of Islamic programs for our community. Sahar is our Islamic Studies teacher for grades sixth and seventh. 

Bushra is a mother of four.  Through her active involvement and organization of various programs, she has made a significant impact in the communities she lived in. Bushra has dedicated her time to mentoring youth groups, coordinating Islamic activities for a wide range of age groups, and orchestrating family-oriented events.  With five years of homeschooling experience and a background as a registered nurse, she is well-equipped to take on the role of the science teacher and 6th and 7th grade Math at Hikma Academy. 

Amany Suleiman, a dedicated mother, has been homeschooling her two children for over five years. She is a respected figure in our community, known for her insightful discussions on various Islamic subjects over the years. Additionally, Amany serves as a life coach, providing self-development workshops for our community. Her extensive experience as an Islamic Studies teacher in various educational settings makes her an ideal candidate to lead our Islamic Studies program. Amany is the Islamic Studies director and currently the teacher for upper elementary. 

Miriam is a mother of seven children. She was previously a host on Sound Vision’s Adam’s World Academy and currently is a freelance writer for Sound Vision’s digital parenting magazine, Muslim Home. Miriam has also been the teacher for the Mosque Foundation Community Center "Girls Roots" for the previous two years where she is blessed with the opportunity to share her love of Islam with young girls. She is pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Miriam will be teaching Islamic History and World Explorers. 

Naheel is a dedicated mother of three children and a loving stepmom to her stepdaughter. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Special Education, Naheel has an extensive background in teaching. She spent ten+ years in the classroom, teaching 1st and 4th grades, and providing small group interventions for all grade levels. Her passion for education and nurturing young minds has driven her career and continues to inspire her daily life. In addition to her professional achievements, Naheel enjoys cooking, baking, reading, learning more about Islam and spending quality time outdoors with her family.

Eman, an Arabic speaker, is eager to share her language skills and knowledge by teaching Arabic at our school. Her fluency in Arabic is complemented by a strong commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Eman's intelligence and passion for education make her a valuable asset to our team. Furthermore, she holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, highlighting her diverse skills and academic achievements.

Qatada, a talented engineer, is set to take on the role of our STEM instructor, imparting knowledge in courses starting with our robotics & engineering class. Beyond his technical expertise, Qatada is a respected figure in his community, known for his dedication to volunteering and supporting youth initiatives, particularly within our Islamic community. His commitment to serving as a positive role model for students extends beyond his educational background, as he exemplifies our Islamic values. Qatada's multifaceted contributions make him a valuable asset in shaping the minds and character of our students.

Roqaya, a remarkable young girl, graduated at the impressive age of 16. Currently pursuing her B.S. in early childhood education, Roqaya is dedicated to furthering her academic pursuits. She has volunteered to teach Quran at programs across the Chicagoland area. She is a Quran teacher at Tafakul Al Ijtimaai. She will be sharing her expertise with our students, focusing on helping them master reading the Quran with tajweed and guiding them in practicing fluency.  Her early achievements and commitment to education make her a valuable mentor to support our students in their Quranic studies. 

Fatima is a talented individual with years of experience working with children. She earned her bachelors in computer science. She serves as our teacher’s assistant in most classrooms. Fatima will adeptly help redirect students, resolve issues, and support them both academically and behaviorally. Additionally, Fatima will co-teach our art classes. You will also find her in the front office, assisting with administrative tasks and organization. Her multifaceted skills and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our team.
